Jhaki Howard,6-6,SF, Norcross High School (GA), 2024
One of top 5 players in the country had another great showing at DT Academy! Elite guard with extreme athletic ability! At 6’7 he can guard 1-4 and plays the passing lane creating tons of steals and deflections. Rebounds at a high level. Offensively unstoppable one on one! He has improved in his 3 shot. Can create off the dribble and if he gets any room to take off inside the lane he will dunk on you! Great all around player with a high level IQ! Not only did we see him score, we saw great court vision. Excited to watch this kid play in the coming years! Hopefully he can help bring Norcross Hoops a ring!

Dravyn Gibbs-Lawhorn, 6-2,PG, Real Salt Lake Academy (UT), 2023

This weekend at DT Academy he showed why he is one of the best guards in the country.
After being out from a foot injury he stated, “thanks for the love man!! this some of my first action back in a year since I was injured so this camp really means a lot to me!!”. Dravyn had a great showing. Quick guard that is very crafty and creates off the dribble. He can go get a bucket at will and also create for his teammates. He had a couple highlight dunks as well. This kid is overall a great competitor.

Jaden Nickens, 6-5, SG, Millwood High School (OK), 2025
Jaden proved why he is a top guard in the country. Seeing his growth year to year has been amazing. He averaged a double-double at DT Academy. Offensively, can flat out score it from every level. He showed he can shoot from deep. Create off the dribble and finish above the rim through traffic. Also has great court vision and it’s gets everyone involved! After DT Academy he picked up 2 offers! Auburn University and Oklahoma State University. A lot more to come for this young man.

Kanaan Carlyle, 6-2,PG, Milton High School (GA), 2023

It showed why he is one of the best shooting guards in the country. Not flashy and plays the right way. Can score from every level. Defends at a high level and plays hard. He won the 3pt contest at DT Academy! Great to see this guy perform!

Picture
Jamil Aleem, 6-4, SG, Heritage High School (GA) 2022
Jamil made a name for himself this past weekend at DT Academy! Athletic guard that can score it! Crafty with the basketball and can create off the dribble. If he improves on his on ball defense and gets stronger he could be a division 1 player! Expect to hear a lot about this kid at Heritage Conyers High School! He is one of class of 2023 sleepers!
Picture
Jerry Deng, 6-8, SF, Norcorss High School (GA), 2022
This kid is extremely talented. One on one he is a matchup nightmare. He can put the ball on the floor and finish through contact. He is an elite shooter and is consistent from 3. He is probably one of the best shooters in the state of Ga. At 6’8 it’s hard to contest his shot. At DT Academy he competed at a high level and really increased his stock.
Picture
Jameel Rideout, 6-2,PG, Berkmar High School (GA), 2022
He is one of my favorite PG to watch l. Great competitor that is not flashy and plays the right way. I think he is underrated and will be a great addition to any division 1 program!! He is a floor general and sets the tone for the game. Jameel does not turn the ball over, creates for his teammates and can score when he needs to! This weekend he had a 40pt game. Watching over the years he has really became a great jump shooter. He also defends at high level and picks you up full court. I expect him to have a big season this fall with Berkmar High school.

Jimma James, 6-5, SG,McEachern High School (GA), 2023
All around complete player! Offensively can create off the dribble and finish above the rim. Decent 3pt shot. Can get others involved. Pushes tempo and plays fast! He is also a great defender.
Picture
Malachi Winter, 6-2, PG, Mount Pisgah (GA), 2022
In my opinion one of the most underrated guards in Ga. Malachi is a strong athletic guard that can score at every level. He has a great feel for the game and creates to get what he wants. Defensively he is a pest and pressures the basketball full court. This past year he help lead Mount Pisgah to a Georgia High School State Championship title. Expect them to be right back where they were with him leading! He will be a big steal for any college coach.
Picture
Gai CHOl, 7', C, Greenforest (GA), 2023
This kid really impressed me over the weekend at DT Academy. At 7 ft tall i was amazed to see how athletic and well he can move. Gai can put the ball on the floor and finish strong at the rim. If he can improve on his jump shot he will be great at the next level. Defensively, he gets his hands on everything. Decent on ball defender and great rim protector. Plays with an extremely high motor and loves to compete. Does not back down from challenges and gets after it!
Picture
Keyshawn “Big Guard” Hall, 6-7, SF, TSF (GA), 2022
This was my first time seeing this kid and man was I amazed! At his size you don’t see kids move the way he does! Elite ball handler and scores at will! Very difficult to guard due to being crafty and very physical in the lane. He averaged 25pt per game at DT Academy! Defensively great on ball defender and can guard small quick guards and also defend a big due to his size and strength
Picture
Mier Bella, 6-2, SG, Norcross High School (GA), 2023
Explosive guard that can score at will! Very shifty and crafty. Can finish through contact and above the rim! Looks for every moment to go get a bucket. At DT Academy he averaged 20+ points per game! Expect him to have a great year for Norcross Hoops!
Picture
Micah Tucker, 6', PG, Mount Pisgah high School (GA), 2025
Quick crafty guard that is extremely hard to stop one on one. Has the ability to knock down shots. Great on ball defender. Has a high level of IQ and knows how to make the right play. I expect him to have a breakout year with Mount Pisgah.
Picture
Samarion Bond, 6-4, SF, Norcross High School (GA), 2023
Is a work horse that gets it done on both ends of the floor! Strong built guard that finishes strong at the rim. Can knock down the outside shot. Defensively great on ball defender and can guard 1-4! This kid may be the X factor for Norcross hoops!! Expect him to have a breakout season! His name is starting to buzz a lot after a great showing at DT Academy!
Picture
Jakyse Locklin, 6-3, SG, Brainerd High School (TN), 2022
High motor kid that gets after it on both ends on the floor. Offensively, drives strong to the basket and finishes above the rim. He also has a decent 3pt shot. Defensively great on ball defender and can guard 1-4l. He does all of the things players don’t like to do like dive for lose balls , box out and rebound. Glad to see this kid from Tennessee bring so much energy and effort.
